"I have been reading the chapters, looking up the
references then completing the tests. I seem to learn quite a bit from the questions on the tests
themselves! I am really enjoying the tests and am trying to
discipline myself to work on the study each
day."
I can't say enough about the course "Managing Anger God's Way" ... my unsaved husband has noticed a change in me ...
"Just mailed out two more tests today.
I found the study on "the men who met the master"
very challenging and interesting.
These study modules are amazing!"
" I have used the "What the Bible Teaches" booklet/course for 30 years
and it is still the best resource for guiding seekers through the
Christian faith."
MY TESTIMONIAL by BARNEY M
Previous
to the Emmaus courses I followed sage advice and would rise early to spend 15
minutes in quiet reflective devotion. In 2005, I decided to seek more
instructive direction. Hence the Emmaus courses which have encouraged my
spiritual growth.
God is my compass through life. Daily, there are some
scriptures that inspire me:
“This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will
rejoice and be glad in it.”
“Let
your light so shine before men that it will glorify your Father who is in
Heaven.”
“I
can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13.)
“God
is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1.)
“Your
word is a lamp unto my feet, a light to my path.” (Psalms 119:105.)
Whenever
I go turkey or deer hunting I take my study with me for more quality time in my
blind always mindful that as much as I love the outdoors I worship my Creator
and not the creation.
“Jesus
let me walk beside you; Let me feel my hand in thine. Let me know the joy of
walking, In your strength and not in mine.” I forget who penned that but I pray
it daily.
In
closing – the more time I spend studying God’s Word the closer I grow in
Him.
